Kogetsuen offers a wide range of carefully selected matcha from many production areas, including Uji, Izumo, and Kagoshima, from high-grade matcha to confectionery. We will help you with your business, such as starting a cafe or restaurant, starting your own business, starting a side job, or starting an online shop.

OEM order flow

The flow for OEM orders is as follows:

  • Step 1.

    First, please decide on your order details (products, filling volume, quantity, destination, etc.).

  • Step 2.

    Based on that information, I will calculate and inform you of the quotation.

  • Step 3.

    If you agree with the quotation, we first finalize the label design. Once the label design is completed, please send it to me by email or via Google Drive sharing, etc. I cannot proceed with the Matcha order before the label design is completed.

  • Step 4.

    I will check the label design, and if there are no issues with the design, you will then proceed to payment.

  • Step 5.

    Once I confirm that payment has been completed, I will begin preparing the Matcha.

  • Step 6.

    The preparation period for Matcha varies depending on the order details.

  • Step 7.

    When the Matcha is ready, I will pack it for transport and ship it.

OEM pricing

The price calculation including OEM is as follows.

If private labels are not included, please calculate the price by excluding OEM labels and label application fees from the following formulas.

  • For cans:

    Matcha (varies depending on filling volume and grade) + Packing Fees + aluminum bag (12 JPY before tax) + can (200 JPY before tax) + OEM label (optional; varies depending on label size and number of labels produced) + label application fee for cans (if labels are applied by our company, 30 JPY per can)

  • For bags:

    Matcha (varies depending on filling volume and grade) + Packing Fees + zipper bag (from 40 JPY before tax) + OEM label (optional; varies depending on label size and number of labels produced) + label application fee for bags (if labels are applied by our company on both front and back, 60 JPY per bag)

  • Private-label costs

    Regarding labels, even if they are manufactured by our company, all designs must be created by you.

    For private-label production, the order quantity is set in lots (10 labels, 50 labels, 100 labels, 200 labels, 300 labels, etc.). The larger the number of sheets produced at one time, the lower the unit cost per sheet.

    For example, the approximate label costs for cans (with a recommended filling volume of 30 g to 40 g) are as follows (prices are for labels only and do not include cans, etc.):

    Private label (before tax) (label size: 45 x 190 mm)

    - 10 labels: 5,382 JPY

    - 50 labels: 8,519 JPY

    - 100 labels: 12,439 JPY

    As another example, the approximate label costs for bags (with a recommended filling volume of 50 g or 100 g) are as follows (prices are for labels only and do not include bags, etc.):

    Private label (before tax) (label size: 80 x 80 mm)

    - 10 labels: 5,063 JPY

    - 50 labels: 6,922 JPY

    - 100 labels: 9,245 JPY

    (*Price per side. For labels on both sides, please calculate x 2.)

    The label content must comply with the Food Labeling Law and other relevant laws in the country where the products will be sold.

    You will also be responsible for designing the back side. For the required items for the food labeling on the back, please check the relevant laws in the country where the products will be sold and create the design accordingly.

    If you need any information for that purpose, our company will provide it to you.

    Please note that our company does not assume any responsibility for the contents printed on the labels.

    Label design requirements

    Below are the label design requirements when you have OEM labels produced through our company.

    Please send the label data as Adobe Illustrator data (ai) or Photoshop data (psd), along with a PDF file.

    If you only send a PDF file, the exact colors of the design may not be accurately reproduced. If you send Illustrator or Photoshop data, we can create labels with more accurate colors.

    Illustrator or Photoshop data must meet the following conditions:

    - Saved in CMYK color format.

    - Trim marks are required for cutting the labels. Please leave a 3 mm margin around the trim marks.

    - Fonts must be outlined. Font size should be 6 pt or larger.

    - Line thickness should be 0.3 pt or more.

    - Please keep all objects at least 1 mm away from the cutting line.

    - There must be a bleed of at least 2 mm from the cutting (finish) line.

    - Save Illustrator data with version CS2 or higher and lower than CC. The same version conditions apply to Photoshop data.

    When submitting the label data, please also send a PDF version together with it.

Our zippered bags are available in three colors: White, Glossy Black, and Matte Black.We offer a wide range of sizes to suit your needs.Labels can be applied to both the front and back of the bag.

This is a screw-cap can that can be resealed after opening (*please note it is not completely airtight).
You can choose from three colors: Black, Silver, or Gold.
The screw tin has a maximum capacity of 40g.
